Some of my favorite natural secrets...

I officially became a vegetarian 3 years ago. this decision was made the moment I realized my body was rejecting meat. I was finding it very hard to digest, after a meal I wanted to go star for a nap, I had no energy...and as you know by now how much I love red wine (ssshhhh! Little secret, don’t tell anyone), it was impossible for me to have a juicy sirloin steak and a glass of wine. My body was not happy with this perfect combination! I would immediately have a migrane, my face would turn red and blotchy in some parts due to the Acne Rosacea and I would reject this beautiful meal right away... It was daunting and needless to say, also embarrassing , dinner dates were no much fun!

At that time of my life, like most people, I was living a busy busy life. Working a job I wasn’t happy at, I wasn’t looking after my health nor excersicing, therefore I was constatnly stress which led my body to develop IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). IBS doesn’t only affect the body phisically, it also affect the mind, causing anxiety, major depression and chronic fatigue syndrome.

I decided I had to make major life that time I wasn’t in a position to leave my job so, I started by making changes in my diet. Fisrt was to stop eating meat, stop drinking wine and completely avoid processed and fried foods. It took a while but my body was starting to love me again.

Uncooked Green Coffee Beans

As much as I love the smell of freshly made coffee, I had to stopped drinking it about 2 years ago. My body didn’t like the effect that coffee was causing to it. I would have several coffees during the day, specially when I was working long shifts. The reason that I said several is because I had to keep topping up to get some energy, the effect of one would only last a couple of hours and then I would feel tired again. My body would go on ups and lows and by bedtime it would be at the highest peak, making it impossible for me to sleep.

I had to find an alternative, so I tried a supplement containing mainly green coffee beans and....woooohooooo!!! My energy levels are amazing and they stay at the same level for the whole day and by the time my head touches the pillow, I’m asleep like newborn baby.
